Vessels Carbon Solutions has commissioned a study on the methane emissions we have captured and destroyed over the years as well as the emissions from our project site we are unable to capture due in large part to mineshafts and portals that are leaking the methane to atmosphere.  The report was done by Drew Shindell an atmospheric scientist at The Duke Universities Nicholas School of the Environment.  A link to his methane impact tool is below.

The greenhouse gas effect of 1,000 cubic feet of methane is equivalent to 1.6 tonnes of CO2. The average passenger vehicle in the USA emits .013 Metric Tons of Carbon Dioxide per day. So 1,000 cubic feet of methane is equivalent to the daily CO2 emissions of 123 cars
